RD DŘEVO: Don’t take off your shoes and come in!

We designed the virtual tour of the model timber house to provide customers with an authentic experience and builders with detailed technical information. Customers can walk through the entire house and examine every room down to the smallest detail. In the expandable info panels, users can find details about each element, including technical drawings showing connections to other structures and assemblies—highly valuable for construction professionals. Each element has its own icon, making it immediately clear that the company not only handles the structural shell but can also deliver outstanding interior work.

The client also requested a floor plan to be included in the tour to clearly show the building’s layout and improve room orientation for visitors. We redrew the provided construction plan into a minimalist version that visually matches the tour design. The map is interactive and also works as navigation—clicking a point in the floor plan instantly takes you to the corresponding room.

For RD Dřevo, we created a virtual tour designed for tablets and kiosks. This allows the client to present it to customers anytime, anywhere—whether during a site visit or in the office. It can also be showcased at trade fairs and events, either on tablets or large screens, helping to attract the attention of passersby.

RD DŘEVO wanted the tour to run on their own server. We therefore delivered a handover package that could be easily uploaded to their infrastructure, ensuring everything worked seamlessly. Whenever updates were needed, we provided a new version, which the client simply replaced on their server.

For clients looking for an even more efficient solution, we also offer hosting on a high-performance SSD server. This reduces loading times of the virtual tour, as our servers are optimized for fast data delivery.

Typically, preparing a complete virtual tour takes around two weeks, provided no additional features are required. However, that was not the case for the RD DŘEVO project, where we integrated an interactive floor plan and improved overall responsiveness. We still delivered it in just 18 days. That made the final feedback all the more rewarding.
